Pharmacist by day, swing dancer by night (and sometimes also the day) Bradley discovered his love for swing dancing in 2013 in South Florida. He always thought of learning how to dance and with his musical background in band as a trumpet player and an obsession with Louis Armstrong and other Jazz musicians it was only a matter of time. It wasn’t long before he would begin traveling around the US to grow as a swing dancer and bring any knowledge gained back to South Florida.
After completing his first online course (via Rhythmjuice) and traveling for dance he would pursue ambitious community projects. He would begin coordinating, DJing, performing and teaching with various ballrooms and organizations. His proudest early moments was teaching routines which had not been taught in South Florida for years (Big Apple and Lindy Chorus) in his living room. Bradley has been teaching and organizing progressive classes since 2018 and is thrilled to have to opportunity and privilege to spread his love for swing dance to the community.

Elsa has danced Salsa, Merengue, and other Latin styles, from a very young age, as well as Tango. She found swing dancing in Philadelphia in 2016. Serendipitously, it was only a few months before her planned move to her home country, Peru. When she arrived in Lima, she looked for swing dancing and found there was no community or classes. Determined to continue this new passion, she created Lindy Hop Peru along with another dancer who had recently moved from Barcelona.
Together the two learned from each other and from online videos. They embarked on the challenge of growing a community from the start while learning as they taught. During the years of furthering this new swing dancing community, Elsa traveled to Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Santiago. There, she honed her swing dancing skills, taking advantage of the high level of swing dancing in these South American metropolises.
In April 2022, Elsa moved back to the US with her husband and their baby boy and found a new swing-dancing home at Swing Out South Florida.

Growing up, Aaron loved jazz music and always wanted to learn to swing dance. He finally got to try it in 2013 in Atlanta, GA and was hooked. He took as many classes as he could with Hot Jam and Down South Swing. Hungry for more, he started traveling and competing at events across the country. He started learning Balboa and Blues and performing with different groups. Back home in Atlanta, he was part of an organizing team that created a dance practica for the Lindy and Blues community. Eventually, he met his wife Ali on the social floor.
In 2018, Aaron and Ali moved to Santa Fe, NM. He started teaching and DJ'ing at the Santa Fe weekly social swing dance. In 2021 they moved again, this time to South Florida, where they found their new swing home with Swing Out, South Florida. Aaron is excited to be a member of the teaching team.

Touting herself as a professional social dancer, Kaycie extensively travels in the pursuit of dance. She first found Lindy Hop in Florida in 2012 and has chased the style across the globe. From Sweden to Thailand, she has learned from and danced with some of the best swing dancers in the world.
In addition to Lindy, Kaycie dances Blues, Balboa, Shag, Tap, and Funk. She says “the happiest dances are when it feels like you have known each other forever. It’s my goal as a teacher to get you out of your heads and into the music so no matter what language you speak, you can always communicate and have a fabulous dance.”

Originally from Miami, Simone has returned to South Florida after surviving Minnesota’s frigid, frozen winters for over a decade. They started dancing through Uptown Swing and Rhythm Junction in Minneapolis and were a longtime member of the city’s local scene. Off the floor, Simone is a public radio reporter and producer. They have worked for several stations across the country telling stories about music, art and culture.
Simone grew up listening to many of the jazz, Latin, and soul kings and queens who paved the way for the legends of today. They love learning about the history of jazz music and the dances born out of it. As a teacher, and forever a student, their goal is to take inspiration from and honor the dance’s original creators while making something new. Beyond Lindy Hop, Simone loves learning new solo jazz routines and exploring other Black social dances, like soul line dancing and dancehall.
